The turbine is an outstandnig approach because of the extremely simple structure.

The KDT is an integrated power plant in the evaporator, expansion of power, condenser and feed pump are combined into one component.
Only the generator is outside the KDT!
A comparison between a simple steam turbine and steam turbine of the compacts is shown in the diagram below. Advantages of simple construction and high integration.
